Tom spent the first 15 years of his career in sales and management with Fortune 100 firms Procter & Gamble, Revlon Cosmetics and Hewlett Packard. He received his introduction to the funeral profession while living on the top of a mortuary and doing removals at night and on weekends. In 2002 Tom joined Family Service Agency as a salesperson and became a partner in the business the following year. He purchased the agency outright in 2017. Tom’s passion is to ensure salespeople are well trained and have all the resources to help them be successful. He and his wife, Darlene, are the proud parents of four children and 12 grandchildren…and counting.

Isaac Nielsen
Regional Manager

Isaac is a Regional Manager for Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. Isaac joined FSA and started with Goff Mortuary in 2010. He takes great comfort in helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most difficult situations, whether it’s helping someone preplan their funeral/cremation or helping them afterwards through his Continued Care service. Isaac is happily married to his wife, Erica. They have six children and stay very busy supporting all of their children in each of their own unique activities and hobbies.
Julie Giles
Regional Manager
UT,AZ
Julie is a Regional Manager for Utah and Arizona. She also sells for Olpin Mortuary, Wing Mortuary and Wheeler Mortuary. Julie didn’t grow up imagining she would one day work at a funeral home, but following the death of a family member, she quickly learned the emotional and financial benefits of planning ahead. She loves the opportunity to help families be prepared for what could be a “very difficult day”. Julie has found particular success in educating people through seminars and events. She has helped many in the agency improve their production with seminars. When not serving at the funeral home, Julie can be found on a pickleball court with her family and friends or mountain biking. She and her husband, Cory, are parents of 4 and the grandparents to 7 adorable grandchildren.
Robert Ulch
Regional Manager
UT
Robert is a Regional Manager in Utah, as well as the Advance Planning and Continued Care Specialist at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley. He has been helping families pre-plan their funeral needs since 1996 and joined FSA in 2010. He started working at a funeral home shortly after his father passed away, because he wanted to help families properly prepare for biggest emergency every family will have to face. He is our technology expert leading the way in the use of iPads to make selling easier and more efficient. Robert lives with his wife, Stacy and their two dogs. They have four children and one grandchild.

The Family Service Agency, as an advanced funeral planning provider, is committed to providing service beyond what is expected to the funeral home, the sales agent and the family through excellence in preneed marketing, agent training, sales technology and proactive communication. We accomplish this while upholding the highest standards of honesty and integrity.
From simple beginnings over 25 years ago at one funeral home in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Family Service Agency has grown into a respected third-party agency focused on selling advance funeral and cremation plans. We work with and represent independently owned and operated funeral homes across several western states.
Admittedly, we are passionate about our Continued Care brand of after care. After perfecting our model, we know from real experience – not just warm feelings – that Continued Care is a competitive advantage for a funeral home. Continued Care is a difference maker! It is a huge help to families after the death of a loved one and should be a significant producer of sales of pre-arranged funeral and cremation plans.
We believe strongly in training and supporting our sales agents and counselors. Our goal is to provide all the resources and assistance needed to help our salespeople be successful both for themselves and for their funeral homes.

We don’t believe in contracts that can bind a funeral home should our relationship ever change. We work together on a handshake! Having worked with many of the same funeral homes for over 20 years, this arrangement works very well for us.
